How does a Nur Burner work?
When using a Nur oil burner you fill the well with water first, then add drops of scent and add a tea light candle. This spreads aroma throughout your room as the scent burns. Here you can watch a video on how it works.
You may be wondering if it’s an oil burner, what are those crystals used for? Well our Nurs can be used with both oils and scented crystals. When using our Nurs with scented crystals you simply add 1-2 tea spoons in the well and light a tea light candle. The crystals will not melt but as they burn a pleasant aroma is released. You should change your crystals once they turn pale white which is an indicator that the scent has evaporated from the crystals. The burn time for all scented crystals is six hours.
Safety Precautions
A Nur can be used with scented oils or scented crystals. When using a Nur burner with scented oils you must not leave it unattended because as the tealight candle heats the water, it evaporates.
Eventually the scent will have evaporated and if you are using an 8 hour burn time tealight candle it is important you check on the water/oil in your Nur as it burns.
Here is a list of all burn times when using our Nurs. Burn time refers to the time it takes for the water to be evaporated when using oil and the time it takes for the crystal scent to finish until there is no fragrance left.
Using your Nur for one hour a day is more than enough. In one hour the scent spreads throughout rooms leaving a nice warm pleasant smell.
